UECCC Board of Directors and Management team held the 45th Board Meeting on 6th May 2022 in Hoima district. They were also able to undertake a site visit to Hoimo, the biggest of the nine (9) sites under the ORIO Mini Hydro Power Project under implementation by UECCC. When completed, the 3.3MW Hoimo ORIO site will have over two thousand (2000) direct beneficiaries of last mile electricity connections.
The team then later visited and assessed the progress made at Hoima International Airport, Kabaale which will be greatly benefit various stakeholders including the Hoimo ORIO site.
As part of Stakeholder Engagement, the team also had the opportunity to visit the Kingfisher Oil Development Project in Kikuube district to familiarize themselves with the Project and the progress being made on site.
