Result Based Financing Facility
The Result Based Facility (RBF) provides grants towards removing market entry barriers, information and communication campaign costs, affordability constraint of the consumers, high operating cost to serve customers in remote areas and support price setting at a level accessible to lower-income beneficiaries including in Refugee and Host Community Districts (RHDs). Grant support is linked to verifiable outputs to help private energy companies enter the solar and clean cooking businesses and take the risk of serving consumers especially in hard to reach areas.
