Under the UECCC Technical Assistance (TA) Programme for Independent Power Producers (IPPs), UECCC has enabled local developers to participate in the development of Renewable Energy Projects through provision of Early-Stage TA funding as follows:

• With support from KfW, UECCC provided Early-Stage Technical Assistance to Six (6) Independent Power Producers (IPPs) with a potential generation capacity of 63.3MW. This enabled the local developers to finish early-stage studies and solicit for equity investors. Out of the six, two have been commissioned.
