The Uganda Energy Credit Capitalisation Company (UECCC) is a Government of Uganda Institution that was established to facilitate investments in Uganda’s Renewable Energy Sector.
UECCC is implementing the ORIO Mini Hydropower Project which entails the development of nine (09) Mini Hydro Power Plants with a combined capacity of 6.7 MW as a single project.
The Project is funded by the ORIO Infrastructure Development Fund (ORIO) of the Government of the Netherlands and the Government of Uganda (GoU).UECCC now intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under a “PLANT and Design-Build” Contract (FIDIC Yellow Book) for Civil and Hydro-mechanical Works for the ORIO Mini Hydropower Project.2.
The UECCC now invites suitably qualified bidders to submit sealed pre-qualification bidsfor the assignment. The ORIO Mini Hydropower Project entails development of the following nine (9) Mini Hydropower Plants;i). Rushobe Mini Hydropower Plant (234kW),ii). Nchwera Mini Hydropower Plant (445kW),iii).
